lose weight/proper handle on nutrition

I thought I had a good handle on nutrition before starting wag. I just accepted that I would be heavier as I was now 36, my metabolism was just slowly, and that's just how it was going to be. Well.....I was wrong. I learned that I was eating portions that were too big, and that my fat and carb contents were very high. The first few weeks were very challenging, mentally, for me. The scale wasn't moving like I thought it should be. But with the guidance of my great coach Brittany Werner. ..I was assured that this was perfectly normal, and to just stick with it.
I put my first week photo to my 12th week photo together the other day, just out of curiosity to see if I had really changed that much as the scale hadn't really moved in 3 months. What a difference! ! I had had friends comment that I was starting to look trim but thought they were being polite as they knew I was on wag. But the proof is in the pics.
My original plan for joining was to stay on wag for 3 months then cancel. But I will be continuing with it as it is one of the best programs that I have found...and that the wag community is amazing! It is an investment in my health that I am so glad I made.
