I really wanted to lean out but not lose any strength. I do crossfit 5-6 days a week and it was really important to me that I maintain and increase the strength I have in the midst of leaning out. I also just really wanted to feel better and take co

My short time with WAG has been life changing. I have been overwhelmed by the support I have received from my amazing coach Brad and through the great community on the Facebook page. I’m a busy mom of 2 kids, a full time teacher and someone loves a good sweat at the gym. I had fallen into a pretty bad pattern of making terrible food choices, skipping workouts and just generally feeling pretty awful. I had been on and off with paleo for years as well and always felt like I was running out of gas during workouts and never felt like it was a long term, sustainable option. Working with my coach and through the support of wonderful friends who are also counting macros, I have been able to figure out how to fuel my body so that I’m getting the most of my workouts, maintaining good energy during the day and learning to not only be flexible with my food but with how I view it. I love the way I’m eating and really appreciate how flexible it is - that I can work anything into my day with minimal planning and prep. I rarely have cravings for anything because I can work those wants into my day if I need to. And I LOVE that I can eat carbs!! I have realized the importance of them in my diet in general, but certainly as a tool to help with my workouts. This program has completely changed my feelings on food and eating - I know what my body needs and the possibilities are endless (and delicious). I have lost 20lbs, feel amazing and haven't lost a bit of strength. I haven't had to scale workouts at all during this whole process and my body is getting exactly what it needs at this point. I think I requested to be on the WAG wait list twice before I ended up taking the leap - and I can’t even begin to say how happy I am that I did. Thank you to Brad (my macro wizard) for all your support and cheerleading and to the greater WAG community for the inspiration!
