Need a healthy game day snack you can whip up in 20 minutes flat? This air fried buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese dressing for dipping is too easy.
I like to keep it simple and buy frozen cauliflower and blue cheese dressing because it’s less work and less prep, but you can elect to use fresh cauliflower instead (see tip below), and make your own blue cheese dressing from scratch. When it comes to all those heavy foods you will likely be eating on game day, you will be glad to have something light and snappy to add to your plate.
Tip: if you are using fresh cauliflower and prefer it less crispy, you can add 1 TBS water to the bottom of your Air Fryer before cooking. This will help it stay a little more moist. Keep in mind when you Air Fry veggies they can reduce in size, so it might not look like you are eating a lot, but this can be nice for those who really want the macros and nutrients without all the volume!
Instructions
- Cut cauliflower into bite sized florets if using fresh, so they cook fairly evenly.
- In a mixing bowl combine the hot sauce, olive oil, and garlic powder.
- Add the cauliflower florets (fresh or frozen) and toss until well coated.
- Set your Air Fryer to 380° and wait for it to preheat.
- Once to temp, add cauliflower and cook for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through.
- If you like it crispier, add an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley, drizzle with extra hot sauce and serve with blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping (you can just also just pour it over the top). Can be served hot or cold!
