Goal
My main goal was - and is - to fuel my body in a way that helps me look, feel, and perform my best.
I originally joined WAG back in May 2018 (almost two years ago now!). After a short break, I rejoined in October 2019 (so, about 4 months).
I've lost 4-5 pounds. (The photos I provided here are only about 2 months apart.) So my body weight has remained fairly steady, while my body composition (and my mindset!) have both changed dramatically. It's amazing how much your body can change without changing the number on the scale.
Testimonial
I've tried a couple different nutrition coaching services, and each has their strengths; but for me, WAG has been the absolute best. My coach my coach is INCREDIBLE because she's helped me see how all the habits we work to develop fit into the larger picture of what we're trying to accomplish. She keeps me accountable - and expects a lot from me, because she knows I can be successful - but she also knows that I'm human and supports me through the ups and the downs. She brings attention to each week's little victories, and that keeps me motivated and moving forward. Her coaching style truly embodies the "progress not perfection" approach and I'm grateful for her constant support.
I'm really pleased with the changes I'm seeing - it's amazing how much your body can change without moving the number on the scale. But my coach has also shown me just how many different ways we can measure progress. And she's helped me develop a much healthier relationship with food through it all. I like who I'm becoming - inside and out. I would recommend WAG to anyone who's looking for long-term, sustainable change - you don't have to go at it alone!
