Goal

When I started WAG I was feeling pudgy and felt like I needed to dial in on my nutrition, I had different coaches for weightlifting, gymnastics, and CrossFit, so why not nutrition. I started WAG in August 2018, and my original goal was to see how far I could make it in the CrossFit Games. I had been in 2014, and 2015, then had some injuries and life got in the way. In January I also had a couple of other goals. A Muscle up and a 2-mile swim.

Working with my coach and following the program she had for me helped me lose weight, and with the weight loss, it helped me with my gymnastics, swimming, and breathing. At 60, I was able to get my first bar muscle up and swim 2 miles by March of 2019. I also had the best open finish ever. I didn't end up making it to the Games, but I did make it to 22nd in the world. When I first started with the program it was hit or miss on the macros, but when I really dialed it in and hit it the way my coach wanted me to. Wow, what a difference. Through my success, my son, his wife, and a friend have all joined WAG.

Testimonial

I am a firm believer of the WAG program. Having a nutrition coach really helped me dial it in. She has always been available to me. I had some pretty stressful situations in my life this year, which could have thrown me off the edge regarding eating, but she stayed positive and kept me on track. I feel the best I have ever felt physically and mentally.
