Goal
When I started my goal was to lose weight an maintain strength. My eating habits were terrible, even though I had thought I was eating healthy and enough. Turns out I really wasn’t. I was stuck at the same weight for 4 years.
I started WAG at 161'ish pounds. After 6 months of working with my amazing coach, I currently sit at 142.8 pounds. Not only have I maintained strength and continue to get stronger but I’m still losing weight!

Although I look unhappy in my 5 am check-in photos, I’m absolutely the most excited. When I first started WAG my nutrition was all over the place. I was so anxious and impatient with my progress. When I didn’t see results I was mentally upset and disappointed. I even wrote my coach a super long message because I felt like the disappointment was having a bad effect me. I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t seeing results and I couldn’t understand why my coach wasn’t adjusting anything. I wanted results faster.
My coach was so patient and informative. I realized the more I opened up to her about how I felt, and the stress I was having, the more she got into details about why she chose the numbers and options she did. She talked to me about the importance of patience and consistency. I think working with my coach and WAG in general, actually made me a better person and athlete. Not only am I making better food choices and overcoming the guilty thoughts of treating myself every now and again (even when it fits my macros) but I’m also down 17 pounds.
Every week for the past 8 weeks I’ve hit at least 2 PRs. Whether it’s a gymnastic movement or a strength piece. For example I can finally hit bar muscle ups. I can do strict ring muscles ups, I’ve even hit kipping ring muscle ups! I hit a 165 pound split jerk and 175 pound hang squat clean. These are number I never thought I’d come close to hitting and movements I never thought I’d be able to do. Working with WAG was one of the BEST decisions I've ever made. I can’t wait to see what progress my coach and I make in the next coming months.
