I have lost about 18 pounds, almost entirely of fat. Completed the CrossFit Open in the top 11 percent of competitors.
As a long time competitive swimmer and more recent CrossFitter, I have always felt like I knew what I should be eating, but could never figure out how much of that good food I should consume to perform at the levels I wanted.
Working Against Gravity came up in a search on Pinterest and I could not find a single bad review of the program. I looked at their website and decided to make the plunge. After years of yo-yoing and fad diets, I knew that if I really wanted to make a change, I needed to do something drastically different. After 30+ weeks on the program, I have lost nearly 20 pounds, with some more to go, and finished the CrossFit Open in the top eleven percent or Rx competitors. Last year I was unable to complete all of the workouts as prescribed.
Team WAG works because none of us are trying to do this alone. Between having a coach to hold me accountable, and an active Facebook group of nearly 2500 members, I never feel like I am in this alone. I know that if I have a success or a struggle, there is a community of people there to celebrate or help to pick me up. Not only have I improved in the gym, but I have hugely increased my self-confidence and general happiness.
