I travel for work to the point where I’m in a hotel bed more than my own throughout the year and being active is extremely hard when I can’t get up every hour to move at my job. An airline pilot is a rewarding job but it’s not easy on the body! I always thought the only people who see real results were the 9-5ers who can make their food at home and always have access to what they need. WAG proved me wrong! I kept telling myself one day I’ll lose weight or one day I’ll look how I want. And then I got tired of saying one day instead of just starting. Time has to pass anyway right?

I started WAG and almost immediately started seeing and feeling changes. My bloating went away within 2 weeks and I was seeing the scale drop every single week. I learned about macros and started packing what I could for my trips. And when I couldn’t pack I was able to learn how to eat in airports and out at restaurants on the road and still hit macros. My coach Pam gave so much guidance on foods to pack and to order out to make it easy! I have been able to go out and do fun things at the exotic destinations and haven't missed out on NYC pizza, New Orleans beignets, or Switzerland chocolates! I am able to fit it all into my plan.

Meanwhile, I wasn’t really going to the gym regularly. This was all done by food! Now I know my body and diet enough to maintain my progress all while eating out and being on the road. I’m so happy I decided to just start instead of continually saying “one day.” I feel so much better in my body, have a better relationship with food when I’m on the road, I'm hitting fiber goals, and don't have tummy issues anymore! Being on the road and away from home can be challenging but there’s options everywhere and if I can do it, anyone can.
