Goal

My goal was to form a healthier relationship with tracking, find better ways to fuel my body, and learn another coaching perspective.

I maintained weight through the whole program, focused on body recomposition and forming healthier, more sustainable habits. Found what numbers worked best for my current lifestyle, body, activity level, hunger levels, etc., and pushed balance and consistency rather than aiming for losing/gaining weight.

Testimonial

Going into WAG I had already been tracking macros and working with a different WAG certified nutrition coach for about 6 months. I went into this program with the goal to gain more knowledge about my personal nutritional needs and also a different nutrition coaching point of view since I recently got my WAG certification.

For the first 6 months of my journey tracking, I was very restrictive and fearful of going even the slightest bit off track, but throughout the last 3 months, Brittany has taught me so much about finding balance while still being consistent to reach my goals without totally going off the rails. We utilized many measurements of progress like pictures, hunger levels, energy, workouts, etc. rather than focusing solely on the scale, and this is where I’d say most of my progress occurred. Previously, the number on the scale was what I lived by, and even slight fluctuations would have lasting impacts on my emotions, but when Brittany brought attention to all of the other important aspects of my journey I realized that there is so much more to focus on!

Implementing these new techniques to be able to live a more balanced lifestyle and paying more attention to the other progress cues that my body was showcasing were my most important takeaways from this program. Being able to handle many different phases of life and not letting the number on the scale dictate my mood have allowed me to live a much more fulfilling last few weeks! Being a college student, it is very important for me to still have a social life, and I know that the knowledge Brittany has passed on to me will be something that I can carry with me not just through this phase of my life, but for all of the phases to come! Even though aesthetically my progress over the last 3 months may not have been drastic, I am confident that mentally my progress has been unmeasurable.
