Goal

When I joined WAG, my goal was to lose ten pounds and change my relationship with food/dieting. I'd tried a bunch of diets in my life but nothing really stuck as a long-term lifestyle change. I was looking for a way to manage my nutrition in a healthy, long-term way. I was also turning fifty and wanted to look and feel fit. 15-pounds lost, gained strength and achieved multiple fitness goals.

Testimonial

I am a mom of three kids and a full-time school teacher. I use CrossFit to stay in shape and relieve stress. Before WAG I was usually tired, eating on the run, and hoping I could out-workout my nutrition. WAG has been a game changer and a life changer for me. Using the program and excellent coaching from WAG, I transformed the way I eat. I learned how to treat food as fuel and I am now lighter and stronger at the same time. I also have more and better energy than ever before. A good part of it all is also the mental attitude. A better diet translates to a better mental state, more energy, more emotional resilience and a happier experience of daily life.

Food as fuel and a better mental state also translates to more effective and consistent training. I started CrossFit five years ago and entered my first CrossFit Open competition only a month after starting CrossFit. Every year I've entered the open and tracked my improvement but this year with WAG my skill and strength took a giant leap forward. Becoming lighter and stronger allowed me to learn gymnastics movements that had eluded me while also lifting heavier weights with more stamina. As a result, I moved from approximately the 90th percentile to the 95th percentile for women my age in the world. Thanks to WAG I feel stronger and fitter than I have ever been in my life!
