In this WAG Original Series, watch how WAG Alumni Member Justin Holt, a busy father, movie maker and artist, explains how he went from McDonald’s and Wendy’s to weighing and measuring his meals.
In college, Justin didn’t have to worry about what he ate as much because he worked out so hard that it really didn’t matter. But as time went on his schedule got busier and his nutrition and fitness took a back seat. Just over a year ago, Justin decided he needed a change. So he joined WAG to help keep him accountable.
Now, even with a busy schedule, some weeks working 120 hours, Justin still makes time for nutrition and fitness. He does all this while making sure it’s not disruptive to his family life. He knew that finding a balance in his nutrition and lifestyle was important for him to be successful both physically and mentally. His strategy is for the long game, he wanted a lifestyle change. For Justin, being dedicated and focused on nutrition was something he took one day at a time.
