Without WAG I'd still be wandering around completely clueless feeling like the "fat girl" every where I went. Filled with embarrassment when people found out that not only have I been crossfiting for years but that I'm also a coach. I sorta felt like a sham.

The program was meant to be. I remember the day I received notification that I was off the wait list - about 20 minutes prior to receiving the email, I had an ephiany and knew SOMETHING had to change. I worked too hard and spent too much time in the gym to look/feel the way I did. It was meant to be. Honestly, I was scared at first because I didn't know if the program truly was obtainable for a life long habit and if it really fit into real life. After being on the program for over 7 months I can confidently say that yes, yes it does fit into real life and is a realistic life long habit. I like that I'm given numbers (macros) to work with and am not told what to eat and when to eat. Overall, it's realistic.

Over the months, I've managed to hit so many PRs in the gym, all while losing a significant amount of weight. I was PRing on lifts that I haven't been able to PR on in years - literally years! My gymnastics is the best it's ever been. I'm able to link together sets of pull ups and toes to bar - two movements I wasn't able to do a year ago because I had gained so much weight. Without WAG none of this would have been possible.

Of course I couldn't imagine the success I've had without my coach Francesco. He was actually the one coach I was scared to death to get (I haven't told him that, but I guess now he knows) because his picture looked so intimidating. Of course, that was the coach I was assigned.....naturally. Honestly, I couldn't imagine having any other coach. It's probably that intimidation that gets me to hit my macros perfectly so consistently, and also why I complete my cardio. But really, he's been awesome and encouraging this entire journey. I'm glad he was the coach I was assigned and my gratitude for him is more than I can express.

WAG is definitely worth the commitment. I've regained the confidence I lost years ago and am no longer faking it to make it. What WAG has given me is priceless. I'm so happy to be part of the community.
